GC Pride Official Wellness Club exists to make movement, connection and wellness safe and joyful for the LGBTQIA+ community on the Gold Coast and beyond. We're a grassroots crew — part run club, part rainbow welcome mat, part loud-and-proud love letter to our city.

Every event, every Safe Space sticker on a shopfront, every story on this site — it's all powered by volunteers showing up in their spare time because they believe the Coast deserves this. No paid staff. No corporate overlords. Just queer joy and a shared group chat.

A small idea, a big rainbow.
We started the way most good things do — with a handful of mates wanting somewhere safe to sweat, stretch and have a laugh without leaving a piece of ourselves at the door. One run turned into a regular meet-up. A regular meet-up turned into a directory of the places that genuinely welcomed us. That directory turned into this.
Today the club is a free, member-led wellness community spanning sport, social, sexual health, mental health and everything in between. It's still volunteer-run, still scrappy, still proudly Gold Coast. And it's only as strong as the people who show up — which, lucky for us, is you.
